This report illustrates the vulnerabilities that the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) suffer. This includes but is not limited to: severe floods and droughts, changing wather patterns, and rising sea level.  Approximately 860 million people who live in LDCs and SIDS will be adversely affected by climate change, many of them becoming environmental refugees. To attempt to solve this issue, the report addresses the problems of climate change in LDCs and SIDS, key vulnerabilities, major issues related to adaptation and sustainable development, and necessary cooperations.
